Problems
Since 2019, the inventory of GHG (greenhouse gas) emissions was performed manually, according to the GHG Protocol methodology. Managing the inventory and indicators reliably and quickly became mandatory, requiring a tool that could calculate carbon emissions with the same reliability and agility the carbon emissions, and that could integrate the existing sustainability indicators.
Solution
The integration carried out by DEEP made it possible to automatically generate the GHG indicators from the data manually collected in Iguá's systems. Also, the possibility of automatic calculation of scope 3, besides scopes 1 and 2, added to the availability in the system of the frameworks recognized by the market, and the integration of the indicators of the existing program
Results
The inventories of scopes 1, 2 and 3 were quickly automated, and with enormous relevance in the platform. The work involved 6 teams, under a single coordination, which ensured agility in decisions and feedbacks throughout the integration process.

A DEEP, através da sua ferramenta – DEEP Value – permitiu a integração dos inventários de cada unidade, numa única plataforma, e o acompanhamento de indicadores alinhados com as premissas da agenda de desenvolvimento sustentável.
Results
A integração realizada pela DEEP possibilitou a geração do inventário de emissões de GEE e dos demais indicadores ESG de forma automática, com confiabilidade.
